Esteban earned his undergraduate degree at Universidad Anáhuac Mayab.  In his final year of studies, he met Isabella Pardo while they were on a cross-curricular project team.  The two stayed in touch and met again in Mexico City two years later when they both volunteered for a community assistance building project.  Within a year they were married.

After working for a small architectural firm, Esteban started a business designing and building sustainable structures.  His business grew in size for a few years until the Mexican CrytoPeso Crisis of 2089 forced him to lay off all but one employee besides himself.  It has been a struggle keeping the doors open since.
