Also, while this story is a work of fiction, my goal is for it to provide what could be a realistic impression of people and places. If you grew up, spent considerable time, or live in a geography similar to one mentioned in this story, feedback on what is not reasonable for that area or culture is appreciated – along with why it is not reasonable and what might be an alternative option. And, if you notice something about a profession or topic (teaching, farming, military service, medical profession, etc.) that doesn’t seem to fit, why not and what would make more sense to you?
