Jim took over the family farm in 2079 when his parents died in an automobile accident.  He is proud to continue the farming tradition while feeling responsible for ensuring the land remains with his family.

He is a member of the Seneca County Republican Party as they best support his property rights.  He also is actively involved in community support organizations including N.E. Kansas Community Action Program, 211 Kansas, and Nemaha County 4-H.
