Sr. Lt. Vladimir Anikeyev joined the Russian Air Force after graduating from School No. 1535 in Moscow.  He excelled in his studies and graduated in the top 25% of his class in the Air Force Academy, and then completed his pilot training, becoming a fighter jet pilot.

He spent a year at Kubinka Air Base before being deployed to fly missions in the RussoIranian War.  He served three years on the front lines before being stationed at Stupino where he is currently serving.
